What to do if you get stuck in a lift?
Before we continue, here's what's important to know in an immediate emergency:
- Stay calm. The lift has redundant safety systems. It won't fall or collapse. Being trapped is uncomfortable, but not dangerous.
- Press the alarm button (yellow bell) on the keypad. This activates the two-way communication system with the maintenance service.

- Do not attempt to force the doors. The doors have safety interlocks. Forcing them can cause injury and damage to the equipment.

Do you service lifts of other brands or only those you have installed yourselves?
We service lifts of all makes and models. Spanish regulations require that any authorized company can work on any lift, regardless of the manufacturer. Can I call you even though I have a maintenance contract with another company?
Yes. If your usual maintenance company doesn't respond or takes an excessively long time, you can hire us for a one-off emergency service. This service is billed as a standby service. It's common for communities to switch maintenance providers after an emergency that was poorly handled by their previous company.
What happens if the breakdown is due to a maintenance failure by another company?
We repaired the fault to restore service as soon as possible and issued a detailed technical report. If the community decides to file a claim against the previous maintenance company for poor maintenance, the signed technical report serves as supporting documentation for that claim.
How long does a rescue take in a lift if there are people trapped?

Is it legal to use the lift if the breakdown has not been fully resolved?
No. If the malfunction compromises the safety of users, the lift must be taken out of service until the repair is completed. The technician in charge is responsible for determining whether the lift can continue operating or must be shut down, and for posting the appropriate warning sign. It is the owner's responsibility to comply with this warning.
